Our journey began with a passion for chess
My name is Saturn, and I’m the creator of SaturnChessLeague. I started this to make chess feel more accessible, fun, and less intimidating for everyone. Based in the Bay Area, our goal is to help young adults and adults feel more confident stepping into tournaments. We host both USCF-rated and unrated events so players of all levels feel welcome to join our community.
Coaching tailored to your unique growth
My coaching focuses on identifying each student’s weaknesses and helping them turn those into strengths. I guide them through their mistakes in a supportive way, showing that errors are a natural part of growth. Every student improves differently, so I adapt my approach to fit their individual path in becoming a stronger chess player.

Through my coaching, my goal is to prepare students to be tournament-ready, or at least to reach a level of understanding that sets them apart from the average chess player.
